The Bankruptcy Court has confirmed reorganization of Takata Corporation's U.S. unit and in doing so gave the greenlight for a Takata Airbag Individual Restitution Fund (IRF). All people injured in vehicles, regardless of who makes them (Honda, Nissan, Ford, Chevy, etc.) can collect from the IRF if the vehicle had a defective Takata airbag and they otherwise qualify under the plan.

New personal injury claims are now being accepted for review. These cases are unique in that even minor injury cases may receive compensation.
Takata airbags were found to have a deadly flaw when airbag inflators using ammonium nitrate began exploding and pushing shrapnel into the passenger compartments with lethal force. By November 2017, roughly 34 million vehicles had been recalled as a result of this danger.
We would welcome the opportunity to work with you on any Takata airbag cases you now have or may have in the future. We are accepting cases even for smaller injuries. You can contact our office for a free consultation
