Alaska Legislature Passes Apology Bill for Medical Malpractice Cases

The Alaska legislature has passed an apology immunity bill.  Typical for many of these types of bills passed in other states in medical malpractice cases, the bill distinguishes between admissions, which remain admissible, and expressions of sympathy, which would become inadmissible.  The bill passed the House two weeks or so ago and passed the Senate unanimously last week.  The Fairbanks Daily News-Miner has a brief story here.
